===How to restore a MySQL SQL File to a DB===

To restore an SQL file to an existing DB, please upload the SQL file (plain text or zipped) to the relevant user's home directory via SFTP, and then follow these steps

**Step 1 :** Log into N99panel and click 'MySQL' in the dashboard

**Step 2 :** Now click 'Restore an Uploaded SQL File'

**Step 3 :** Fill in the necessary details and click 'Submit'

The restoration operation of a SQL file to a DB can take time depending on the size of the SQL file. Also in some cases the automated restoration can fail. To check for these situations, please refer to the 'Tasks' under the dashboard to verify the completion of tasks and to check if any errors during the restoration have been reported or not.

Even after a deemed successful importation, please verify the table count on the restored DB. This should match with the table count in the imported SQL file.
